Point

Double-cutter drill

Equipped with two cutting edges, this drill allows for quick and easy drilling in concrete, for example. Often also with a center point for easier centering. Examples include the T-Rex (for concrete), the Bankirai (for wood), and the step drill bit.

Triple-cut drill bit

The advantage of three cutting edges is the reduction of heat buildup and wear. A triple-cut drill bit improves drill guidance and centering, resulting in higher drilling speeds and more accurate holes. Furthermore, there is less wear, extending the drill’s lifespan. Examples of drill bits in this segment include the Woodstar 3D (for wood) and the Tri-star hammer drill (for concrete).

4-Cutter

Extreme wear resistance, even while drilling in reinforced concrete. The four solid cutting edges ensure 100% power transmission and dust removal. An example of a REX drill with a four-cutting drill point is the QX4.

Y-cutter

A Y-shaped drill point, thanks to its unique shape, has the advantage of maintaining the highest penetration rate. Thanks to the effective dust evacuation via the three cutting edges, the drill remains resistant to wear for longer. Click HERE to go to the REX Y-cutter.

Asymmetrical

The Big Max is an example of a unique asymmetrical drill bit. This hammer drill bit features side cutters and a centering head. Underneath the head is a short helix with large drainage slots. The perfect combination for high drilling speeds in hard surfaces like marble, granite, and concrete.
